Donate in Support of Those Impacted by the Los Angeles Wildfires
Raging wildfires have displaced tens of thousands of Southern Californians from their homes and exposed many more to toxic smoke and poor water quality, which impacts their health. Many people have lost their homes, vehicles and/or possessions, and are in desperate need. Our employees and physicians have expressed an interest in helping those affected by the wildfires. We have vetted four organizations that are responding.
Update: We have ended this campaign. While we are no longer matching contributions, we encourage you to contribute to the following organizations if you wish. We want to thank our employees and physicians for contributing to this campaign.
- American Red Cross, Los Angeles Region is operating evacuation centers in Los Angeles County providing food, water, comfort items, health and emotional support services.
- Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is collecting and distributing food and comfort items to those in need.
- YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles is providing free childcare for children of first responders, essential workers and displaced families and serving as evacuation sites.
- Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA is sheltering pets displaced by the fires and providing food, water and medical treatment for animals with burns and injuries.
