Providing opportunities to support those Impacted by the Hawaiʻi Kona Low Storms

Communities across Hawaiʻi are recovering from the devastating impacts of the recent Kona Low storms, which caused widespread flooding, damage, and disruption for thousands of families. Through KPGives, Kaiser Permanente employees and physicians can help provide critical relief and support trusted nonprofit partners delivering immediate assistance and long‑term recovery efforts. 

• Hawaiʻi Community Foundation is deploying rapid‑response grants to local nonprofits delivering emergency assistance and supporting early recovery and long‑term resilience across the state. 

• Hawaiian Council (formerly known as Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement) is offering immediate aid and recovery to communities affected by the flooding, primarily focusing on providing stable housing.   

• Maui United Way is maintaining a centralized post‑flood resource hub and coordinating real‑time relief and recovery information in partnership with local emergency management and community response organizations.
