Established in 2015, the Community Foundation of Elko County is an affiliate fund of the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada.
People choose to support the Community Foundation of Elko County because it provides the opportunity to have their charitable gifts support the region they love. The Community Foundation is also a resource for local nonprofit groups. Community Foundation grants give nonprofit organizations the support they need. Everything the Community Foundation of Elko County does is designed to strengthen our community and deepen your connection to it.
The Community Foundation of Elko County Endowment is invested and managed by the experts on the Investment Committee at the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada. The Endowment is pooled with larger investments gaining for Elko County maximum safety combined with long-term growth.
Grants are recommended by the Community Foundation of Elko Fund Advisory Committee. The grants then are managed by the program staff at the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada.
